Caroline (Carli) Parmelee-Noffsinger, LMSW, CAADC

Clinical Therapist

Carli Noffsinger came to Sanford with more than 20 years clinical experience, holding various roles in the addiction treatment field. These roles include: primary therapist and case manager for residential, IOP, and outpatient therapy. Carli holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. And she trained in trauma therapy through the Ross Institute in Richardson, Texas.

Carli recently closed a private practice, where she worked with those dealing with co-occurring disorders and addiction. She made the transition to Sanford, where she is facilitating all Family Programs. Carli is instrumental in implementing Sanford’s Family Program via telehealth. She also writes numerous articles to support the program.

When she’s not working, Carli spends time with her horse. She has been a horse lover and owner for most of her life. Carli is also an active grandparent with her 3 year-old granddaughter and prides herself in her “political involvement”.

Carli says, ” Addiction is a major social problem of our times. It destroys individual lives, families and careers. And the consequences of addiction impact hundreds and thousands of Americans each day. Because of this, I consider time spent in the addiction treatment field as worthwhile. And I enjoy being engaged with people experiencing and resolving life’s challenges.
