Sanford West Behavioral Health Campus, is built on 18 rural acres just outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan. After a year long renovation, Sanford West opened in January 2022, extending and complementing the services at Sanford Behavioral Health. The hallmarks of Sanford are apparent in the new facility: beautifully restored spaces serve as a first step to self-worthiness and healing.
Sanford West is a big campus, designed to treat high acuity patients. Further, we utilize an integrated approach to co-occurring addiction, eating disorders, mental health and medical conditions. However, the campus is strategically designed to divide program areas into more intimate spaces. By doing this, we have flexibility and can create a sense of community that most large, institutionalized centers do not have the ability to do.
