As we continue to best serve our clients while responding to the spread of COVID-19, we are introducing Sanford Virtual Addiction Treatment. At Sanford, we are all healthcare workers on the front lines, looking out for our patients every day. And we are committed to helping public health facilitators contain the coronavirus pandemic, while also making sure those with substance use disorders (SUDs) receive the treatment they rely upon. Virtual treatment allows our clients to adhere to CDC guidelines to socially isolate, while continuing to receive SUD treatment and the benefits of connection to the Sanford community.

I have been trying to look at the COVID-19 threat from the positive perspective. And some of the procedures we are implementing at Sanford are exciting, because we can continue to help our clients, even if they are not feeling well or have been exposed to COVID-19. All the while protecting Sanford staff.
