Sanford Addiction Treatment Centers is based in Grand Rapids and “specializes in rehabbing rehabโ. The Sanford residential facilities donโt look like traditional treatment centers across Michigan. As they are typically in refurbished homes, comfortable, and gender specific. This helps to reduce the shame associated with addiction and encourages a holistic approach to recovery.
The company opened in 2015 with a womenโs treatment center, and they rapidly expanded with a menโs treatment center in 2017. An outpatient facility was opened in 2018. Due to the high demand for individualized care to address addiction, Sanford grew from four employees to more than 50 today.
