New Day, New Year, New Video – Sanford Addiction Treatment Centers

Dawn of a new day – Recovery hike along Reeds Lake, East Grand Rapids, MI

‘Tis the season to be thankful. It’s also the season to look back on the previous year and forward to 2020. In 2019, the Sanford team did what they do best. We continued to provide an addiction treatment exemplar in our residential houses – Sanford House at Cherry Street for Women and Sanford House at John Street for Men. And in the Sanford Outpatient Center we offered Intensive Outpatient Programs as well as Relapse Prevention, Early Recovery and Mindfulness Meditation classes.

Our Family Program and Alumni Programs for clients and their loved ones thrive. Out and about in Michigan, we provided education, addiction prevention, and tips to get through the “sober holidays”. We told our personal recovery stories to motivate others. Founders Rae and David Green wrote opinion pieces for the newspapers and spoke on radio and television.

We were busy in 2019. And we look forward to 2020 with open minds, hearts and doors – to a new beginning for our community and every single one of our clients. Happy New Year.

When they come through these doors, it’s a new day. It’s a new day for them. A new day to begin the restoration of their life and their family. It is an opportunity to explore all those unexplored areas that have been so long lost in this disease… you come through the doors of treatment and it’s a new beginning …
