I came to Sanford in such a dark space without much hope. Sanford and the amazing staff there helped pull me out of the dark space I was in and walked beside me as I found myself and learned how to walk in recovery. If it were not for Sanford, I would not be where I am at today. The staff were absolutely amazing, kind, loving, educated, and genuinely committed to helped people succeed. I would recommend this place above all other mental health facilities in a heartbeat. I left Sanford ready to continue walking in freedom with the tools and supports I need. Thank you to all of the staff and employees (yes, even the cleaning staff were kind and loving) for staying by my side and showing me the hope and love I needed!

Sanford Behavioral Health changed my life and genuinely they are the best residential program ive ever been in. I have been to Timberline Knolls (traumatizing!) And many psych wards and always had an awful experience and although my time from March-August 2025 had its ups and downs I would say overall I came out a better person and absolutely changed for the better from it. My therapist there, Kyle Reck, changed my life, and I cant thank him enough. When I needed a program to take me seriously even though I was not your stereotypical anorexia - Sanford was there. They believe in HAES (health at every size) and treat anorexia/bulimia but also ARFID which is something many treatment centers won't. In therapy there they will address trauma and other co-occurring mental illnesses alongside the ED. Just so much good and so much that I needed! I can genuinely say I am doing so much better today. Things aren't perfect and maybe never will be. Maybe thats unrealistic to expect of myself. But I am in the best place I have ever been in my whole life. โค๏ธ genuinely I give thanks to Sanford for a big piece of this journey. Not only the staff, but my fellow clients there have changed my life and they encouraged us to stay in contact, so I have also made lifelong friends. ๐Ÿซถโœจ๏ธ Thank you staff, thank you Sanford, for all you've done for me. I am changed for the better because of you all.

The treatment approach here was very beneficial to me. It was the first time I went into a recovery program that actually made me see my problem. It's been an amazing transformation for my well being. At first I wanted to leave. I stayed and great things have happened since.

EZ Admissions: Getting Help
Shouldn't Be Hard

Call

A real person answers the phone 24/7. No automated systems, no callbacks, just someone ready to help the moment you reach out.

Clip path group

Our on-call medical team handles clearances around the clock. Not everyone needs a full phone screening, and we work with VA referral packets so veterans can move straight into care.

Clip path group (1)

When you meet emergent criteria, there's no wait. We offer overnight admissions so your first priority can be rest and medical care โ€” not logistics.

Crises don't happen on a schedule. Neither do we.
