J.O.H.N. is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in a restored historic home. It is a veterans and first responders-only residential treatment facility for adults. Hidden in plain sight, J.O.H.N. is a place of healing, fostering camaraderie and trust within an environment of safety, privacy, and comfort.

A real person answers the phone 24/7. No automated systems, no callbacks, just someone ready to help the moment you reach out.
Our on-call medical team handles clearances around the clock. Not everyone needs a full phone screening, and we work with VA referral packets so veterans can move straight into care.
When you meet emergent criteria, there's no wait. We offer overnight admissions so your first priority can be rest and medical care — not logistics.
